I stand by the window, sitting and observing the sky—foggy gray skies, leaves carried away by the wind. Birds move around. Yet time moves on; it has no mercy.

I see cars passing by and imagine the people inside—mere individuals like me, with thoughts and goals, moving, thinking, breathing. I see an older man walking. What could he be thinking? Life experiences.
Thoughts flood us daily, but they are often the same thoughts others have had before, nothing new.

The clouds give us a sense of that enclosed feeling of sadness, dark and engulfing, bringing thoughts of time.
I am in the past. I am in a present that will become 10 years ago, 20 years ago, 100 years ago, a million years ago. I am in the present that is intangible, non-existent.

Yet the past does not exist if not for our stored memories; it is like it never happened without those captured moments.
The past becomes irrelevant, yet it shapes the present and the future.
The present was once the future, and the past was once the present.
The definition of time intrigues me. It never provides an answer, only more questions.
But what is time, and why have mere humans not been able to decipher it?
I know only that I am in a moment, intangible, becoming just another memory stored in some secluded area that I might one day recover.
